“When I was in grade school, I would go home crying my eyes out; it was painful to process how society perceives your family that way when you go home to a space full with nothing but love and functions no different from a traditional family. My mama would always explain it to me by saying, ‘They’re not used to families like ours, they don’t understand how it’s like, and people don’t like things they don’t understand'”, bahagi ng post ng dalaga.

“I’m proud of my moms, and I’m proud of everyone in this community. We have a long way to go in this fight, but we’ll get there. We will be recognized and accepted. Until then, know that you’re not alone and we’ll resist together,” pagpapatuloy niya.

Long #PRIDE post ahead, but I hope you take the time to read my experience as a child of same sex parents!A few months…
